[low] options for printing URIs

Currently printing automatically prints linked URIs in place. I'm finding it disruptive to my reading. Yet, I can see use cases where users would want the URIs.

I wonder about feasibility of enabling users to choose:

• don't print URIs at all
• print URIs in parenthesis after the link (as does now)
• print URIs as footnotes
• other?

And I wonder which should be the default for most pages?
(It seems like for most of our resources, print URIs in parenthesis after the link is not the best option for most use cases.)

Considering that we don’t have settings on the page, where would users find these settings? How would they be made discoverable?
