UI improvements and cleanup #120
Description
Currently the app displays the following issues:
- white workspace apps don't look well on light themes
- acrylic brush is reappllied on constructor and causes a small flash on some windows
- acrylic brush shouldn't be used on pop-up windows because of performance issues on some machines
