Hello @mac-cain13. Can you review this? |
Looks like a good samaritan attempted to provide a V3 version in #119 🙂 |
Asked @mac-cain13 on Twitter if he could check the PR. |
There's a fork of this repo available at https://github.com/mydogger/xdebug-helper-for-chrome, which added support for Mv3. |
Looks like JetBrains have published their own compliant extension |
The extension needs to be upgraded to version 3 because Google Chrome will soon be removing all extensions that are built using manifest v2.
By upgrading the extension to manifest v3, it will ensure compatibility with the latest standards and guidelines set by Google Chrome. This upgrade is necessary to ensure that the extension continues to function properly and can be published and distributed through the Chrome Web Store.
Failure to upgrade to manifest v3 may result in the extension being removed from the Chrome Web Store, which in turn can lead to a loss of users and potential customers. Therefore, it is crucial to promptly upgrade the extension to version 3 to ensure its longevity and continued availability to users.
