Steps to trigger the problem:

1. Change the configuration + save the file
2. Change the configuration again + save the file
3. Open the cfg-file in the editor using edit predictions

Whoa. That's super wonky and not something that I can reproduce on my Linux machine with Zed Nightly 180.

Is there anything specific to your setup that you think might contribute to this?
Do you have any more explicit steps that might help me reproduce?
Does it only happen in settings? Or elsewhere too?

Hi. I've encountered this bug in files of all types. Initially, i thought it might be related to having 2+ Zed windows open frequently, but it turns out that's not the case. Sometimes there are overlaps, and other times there are significant shifts to the side. I haven't been able to figure out the cause myself, as it happens spontaneously.

I use Zed every day, so i can record each of my coding sessions in case this bug reappears. This way, we can analyze its occurrence further
