Summary

When resizing the window, the entire content flickers black rapidly.

Description

Happens to me with any colorscheme, clean settings.

Below is a recording of what it looks like. The flickering is a lot more rapid than visible in the video, due to the framerate being lower. It seems that every n pixel I resize, the window is tinted black for a moment and then back to the correct colors.

The same behavior can be observed when running the latest GPUI examples from main, built from source.

I can see the following in the logs over and over:

2025-06-17T23:15:19+02:00 INFO [blade_graphics::hal::surface] Using surface present mode MAILBOX
2025-06-17T23:15:19+02:00 INFO  [blade_graphics::hal::surface] Retaining current format: Bgra8Unorm
