Did MetaReducers for NgRx Data break in 19.x?

Since upgrading from 18.x to 19.x I get the following error:

In:

function compose(...functions) {
  return function (arg) {
    if (functions.length === 0) {
      return arg;
    }
    const last = functions[functions.length - 1];
    const rest = functions.slice(0, -1);
    return rest.reduceRight((composed, fn) => fn(composed), last(arg));
  };
}

The error happens because last is an InjectionToken rather than a MetaReducer.

I am injecting my MetaReducer as follows:
