Q: is it possible to push telemetry metrics to collector?

If not mistaken, opentelemetry_exporter knows how to do that. But, I can't find any pointers anywhere on how to actually achieve that. E.g. generating summary("vm.memory.total", unit: {:byte, :kilobyte}) metrics is fine, but no idea how to wire those up so that opentelemetry_exporter (or any other lib) know how to push those to OTEL collector.

Found https://github.com/electric-sql/elixir-otel-metric-exporter that actually does the job. However, it does not support summary metrics. Also, it does not belong to opentelemetry eco system so it does not pickup on e.g. config :opentelemetry, :resource config etc.
