Use the [ I ahven't used it myself, so do a small test first: The thing to check is whether beets updates its database to the new location, even if the new location is outside the current music directory. |

Hello everyone, I am new to beets and am trying to figure out a good workflow. Currently, I have a large "inbox" full of .flac files in folders by album. I want to import them into a final "library" folder where I will house my clean, organized music library.
My thought is to set my beets directory as a "quarantine" folder, where I can import 5-10 albums at a time and check to make sure everything worked before I allow it into my main library folder.
I'm worried moving files after import is going to screw with the beets library file, which stores all of the file paths. Is this a decent way to structure things, or is there a better way? Thanks!
