Joplin keeps synchronizing despite synchronisation interval turned off

Current behaviour

whenever theres a change to a note joplin starts synchronizing automatically despite synchronisation interval being turned off

Expected behaviour

No synchronization until i click on the synchronize button

AFAIK this is by design. The purpose of changing the sync interval is to determine how often to check for incoming changes

I would also add that the application will always sync on start too, so fully manual synchronisation is impossible.

I understand what was shared above, but I am syncing to an AWS S3 bucket and charges are for storage capacity utilization as well as IO activity (GET, PUT, etc). I would prefer to keep costs low by reducing the number of syncs. Just my 2 cents. Loving Joplin!
