How To Reproduce

• open an OLPC XO-4 laptop with OLPC OS 13.2.11,
• open Browse activity,
• click on Sugar Labs, and see the old web site,
• edit the URL to be https://v2.sugarlabs.org/ and press enter, result page is blank.

Expected behavior

View new web site.

I didn't raise this issue to mentor anyone through it, please just get it fixed rather than try to engage my enthusiasm. I don't think I should be directing how it is solved.

Support for older browsers is a well-understood technical requirement in the industry, and there are several tools available to help. I don't generally use these tools in my work, instead I provide web content that relies on the most basic behaviours. I am surprised the project did not consider this before release day. It really sends a strong message.

Sorry, I don't know how to bring up the WebKit console, and ran out of time looking for how to do it.

This issue is likely caused by the old WebKit engine choking on newer JavaScript, which leads to a parsing error. I’ve now updated it with a legacy bundle—please try again and let me know if it works.
