Hi there,

This has been great! But I'd really like to use it directly within my AI workflow in Cursor.

Can you add support for running oco as an MCP server? There are other git commit mcp servers, but it'd be nice if all the config, keys and style is the same as OpenCommit.

Add a command to run as an MCP server e.g. oco mcp which can be run automatically from cursor.

@hongkongkiwi do you know that cursor has native support for ai git commit messages?

I don't really want to use my cursor credits for this, I'd rather use opencommit directly with a gemini api key.

Also, cursor doesn't really do things without prompting most of the time, whereas MCPs ensure to tell the model that it should do this feature.

Lastly, it uses a different git commit message format to whats in the config here, which makes it a bit inconsistent.

Also I use a variety of editors not just cursor, so having an MCP would be super fire :)

i think the new command you suggest like oco mcp: npx http-server [path] [options] to serve as a gateway to the very same commit function (here src/commands/commit.ts) is what we need?
