In my server logs, I see that my website (which is not a PWA) is receiving requests of the form

/+--app-run-on-os-login-mode=windowed+--app-launch-source=4

However, the documentation for Run on OS Login, which seems to be referenced here, does not mention any server calls. I don't know what to make of it. Could it be a bug in Edge (or Chrome)?
