Opening multiple tabs in a webbrowser on Android

Hello everyone,

I am trying to migrate my firefox between two Android phones. The FF on the old phone has multiple tabs open (a lot ...), I don't want to lose them and I couldn't find a way to do that without hacking.
After researching I found Beeware/briefcase. The simple Python script I developed is:

Does anybody know how can I fix this ?

Unfortunately the webbrowser module doesn't work on Android yet. I've created an issue for that at chaquo/chaquopy#1149.

Even if it did work for a single URL, I'm not sure whether Android would allow you to open multiple tabs at once in this way.

But if you already have a list of the URLs, why not just paste them into a Markdown GitHub Gist or something, and then open that page on your new phone? Then you can create new tabs from them whenever you want.

Do you know if this has been fixed? I'm planning on creating an Android app and want to give the user a choice of opening links in WebView or the default browser.

No, the webbrowser module hasn't been implemented on Android yet. The linked chaquopy ticket is still open, and contains the best known workaround at this time, and describes why that workaround can't be applied to CPython itself.
