👋 About Me

Hey! I'm Garrett Fincke, a full-stack engineer focusing on data infrastructure, backend systems, and building MVPs. I've been working with tools like Django, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Docker. I'm currently building Beacon (working title) — read about it below!

Full-stack price & stock tracking platform to help users find cheaper alternatives for essential products across major retailers

  • ⚙️ Building with a consumer focus—providing price histories, inflation visualizations, and recommendation systems
  • 🧠 Designed with Django backend using PostgreSQL, Redis, and Celery for scalable job handling
  • 🌐 Includes a cross-platform frontend built with Next.js and React
  • 🔄 Reuses and extends infrastructure originally built for InStock, a previous project
