Description

Hello, this is a previous issue that wasn't properly resolved. It was originally brought up here:#2096

Now the current version of the issue: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-functions/functions-add-output-binding-cosmos-db-vs-code?pivots=programming-language-csharp&tabs=isolated-process

  1. In Visual Studio Code, select View > Command Pallete... then in the command pallete search for Azure Databases: Create Server...
  2. Provide the following information at the prompts:
  3. Choose Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL (Not showing)

It was stated in the previous thread that the documentation was changed to reflect selecting a SQL option but it's still saying to pick NoSQL which doesn't show up.
