If the rearranging functionality is not performing as expected on controls within a user interface, it can hamper user experience. Users cannot adjust the width of the pane or controls and cannot access the page efficiently. Users who struggle with performing dragging movements cannot operate the interface effectively without a pointer interface when move controls are provided.
Note: Login Credentials must not be provided within the bug.
Pre-requisite:
Azure database should be installed from extensions in VS code.
Repro Steps
Open VS Code and navigate to azure databases button present on right pane.
Navigate to anyone of the resource and expand it. Expand a database. Right click on any collection and select "Open Query editor(Preview)".
Query editor screen appears. Run any sample query. Data in table appears under results tab.
Navigate through all controls of the results tab including running the query.
Verify if Single Pointer options alternative is not provided for adjusting the width of table columns.
Actual Result:
Single Pointer options alternative is not provided for adjusting the width of table columns present in the "Results" tab.
Expected Result:
Single Pointer options alternative should be provided for adjusting the width of table columns present in the "Results" tab.
Example: Providing an input field which could allow any user to enter a precise value to adjust the columns width.
