VSCode Copilot erases your prompt.

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

• VS Code Version: 1.99.3 (17baf84) arm64
• OS Version: MacOS Sequoia 15.3.2

Steps to Reproduce:

1. open vscode (with or without extensions)
2. Open copilot.
3. type some instructions, type one line or for 20 mins, same problem
4. cursor up to the top of the text, cursor 1 more time and the prompt will erase forever, all of it. MADDENING.

Looks similar to #201269 which should've been fixed year ago.

This has been a problem for me since copilot chat became available to me in VSC. I just never reported it until I lost a huge prompt that was the last straw.

Sorry for the trouble, this should be fixed in Insiders/this week's upcoming release: microsoft/vscode-copilot-release#6704
