Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes (Fresh installation via WinGet)

  • VS Code Version: 1.99.3 (17baf84)
  • OS Version: Windows 11 24H2 (26100.3775)

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch VS Code takes 50+ seconds..

F1 - Startup Performance: Startup Performance 2.txt

code.cmd --prof-startup: prof-fts4jkEz.main.cpuprofile.txt
