Description

@michaelchampion

We are invited to nominate candidates for the upcoming W3C TAG election. There are 4 seats up for election. The terms will run from February 1, 2025 to January 31, 2027.
Link to nomination form: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/33280/tag-202410/

We currently support Lea Verou in the TAG, and her seat is up for election. Lea has a new job, and is unsure if she has the time or would prefer to leave the seat open to someone who can devote their full attention to it.

So, before the October 19 Standards Collaboration space meeting:

  • @LeaVerou will consult with herself and her employer to determine if she has the time and thus wants to be nominated
  • We will ask around to see if there is another potential nominee, who is at least adjacent to our community, and would like to be on the TAG. @bkardell has kept tabs on that in the past, and might even like a nomination himself.
