Update people list #9
Conversation
@jorisvandenbossche : Hi there 😉 . Adding |
Ah, sorry :-) (I have the excuse that I was thinking about the people added last year around the sprint time, and you were already addded earlier :-)) |
Not that it particularly matters, but it someone more active wants to take my place on the NumFOCUS subcommittee I would gladly step aside :) |
Would any of these folks want to be added to the NumFOCUS project email list? I don't typically receive any newsletter updates from pandas, so if there's someone that can be added (Marc Garcia?) who could provide more information on what's happening with the project, that would be really helpful! |
I would be glad to be added to the NumFOCUS project email list. |
Thanks, Joris. I've added you. Let me know what's decided re: any others. |
I started a new position and not particularly active these days, but can be added to the subcomittee and help with the communications between pandas and NumFOCUS. Nobody else is interested I guess? |
btw, we also have a list of maintainers in the website [1] that should probably be updated once this is merged. |
Also please update the core team in our NF docs: https://github.com/numfocus/numfocus/blob/master/projects/pandas.md |
In the "Institutional Partners" section do we want to add an entry for Ursa Labs and move Wes' name there from Two Sigma? |
yep should update this |
Yes, probably. But since that needs confirmation of Wes, let's already merge this PR. |
And updated the website as well in https://github.com/pandas-dev/pandas-website/commit/d12b870f9049f1ac1f1da0ea424cbb671b1802cd |
Long overdue update of the list of core devs for the ones we added last year.
@pandas-dev/pandas-core did I forget somebody?
