Option to always show root, fixed at top of buffer

I wonder if it is possible to make sure the root is always visible, at the top of the nvim-buffer?

I typically have a lot of workspaces open in different neovim/tmux panes, and I use the root folder at the top of the nvim-tree buffer to at a glance know what workspace I'm currently in. This works fine most of the time, but not for directories that has more files than what fits on screen.

That sounds like a good idea. Users would likely need to customise root_folder_label however that functionality should not need to be changed.

Please raise a feature request with a description of how this should look, how it should behave when filtering, navigating the tree etc. etc.

This is not a trivial change as there are a lot of baked in assumptions which would likely need to be rewritten.
