We've had a longstanding bug where selecting a photo from the gallery that was recently taken on another device and synced via iCloud fails. However, with Capacitor and Xcode 15, this has turned into an app crash.
This PR doesn't solve the issue entirely, but it does prevent the new crash so that the original bug is the only problem.
