Manifest path for SSR assets ?

Based on Vite facade and Foundation file src/Illuminate/Foundation/Vite.php:

We can access manifest files and assets content from within the public directory. But what about the SSR assets ?

Am I missing something or could this lead to a possible new feature request ?
