I'm starting to work on the Hebrew translation of the docs, will start with the manual parts.
It's awesome there's already Arabic translations as most rtl-related stuff are already handled well, I'll fix some more RTL stuff on the way - I'm not an Arabic speaker so would love another set of eyes on these changes to make sure they make sense (I'll also validate with a colleague).

Thanks for the update - I saw this thread when I started and saw it coming, and honestly haven't made much progress because I kept putting this off in favor of fixing the links/unicode stuff (and general business of life) - I have a branch ready with most of the "Getting started" section, but I think I'll wait for this thread to resolve
My 2 cents:
The translation is much harder than expected:
A lot of the technical language doesn't necessarily have an obvious counterpart in Hebrew
The LTR/RTL issues are quite hard to deal with
I spent a lot of time trying to bypass having to translate inside the HTML - which makes formatting considerations very hard to deal with (especially with the LTR)
So I definitely think having some i18n solution implemented first will make this work easier
Also a lot of the docs around "Getting started" seem quite outdated - and I assume that since I started I already have big gaps I'll need to try and find somehow
With r175 there will be a new documentation based on JSDoc. The new docs cover the entire code base (core+addons) and support new features like client-side search. However, since the documentation is generated via JSDoc, there is no i18n support. The pages are only available in English.
Translated versions of the documentation are not maintained in this repository anymore, see #24984.
