Is there any point to doing this if qbittorrent does not support the feature? I can't really see what the goal is here. |

Sorry, I incorrectly assumed that qBittorrent had already added that feature (qbittorrent/qBittorrent#4163).
Unfortunately, libtorrent is reluctant to enable it by default because so few people use it - and apparently qBittorrent is waiting for libtorrent to enable it again...
This gets into the awkward position that if no mainstream client is willing to support it voluntarily, then it will never be used...
I think I'll say something in the libtorrent repository, anyway, thanks for your time.

Are there any plans to add a qBittorrent build with libtorrent with WebTorrents support?
arvidn This feature is disabled by default for reasons of keeping libtorrent projects secure. But since qBittorrent builds are quite complex, I haven't found any builds with WebTorrents support that can keep up with qBittorrent version updates.
It would be useful to have an option to build another qBittorrent version with WebTorrents support separately.
Basically, building libtorrent is a matter of passing in an extra parameter to toggle webtorrents on and off, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to figure out in my own repository how to pass the required parameter into the right place in this very complex sh script.
I'd appreciate it if you could consider including it in the main repository as well (or guide me on where to change it)!
