Incorrect alignment of variable line heights in diff editor

Side by side diff editor should synchronize line heights across the two editors to maintain diff alignment

are you talking about when the width of the left and right sides sometimes deviate?
causing word wrapped lines to differ in height?

This iteration it has been made possible to define variable line heights in the editor through the monaco API. So I was talking about this case.

The simplest solution perhaps here would be to entirely disable variable line heights in the diff editor however. I am not sure if this adds a lot of value in a diff editor.

I still can set a variable line height for diff editors.
That siad, I'm not sure if this is the right thing to verify since I don't see any issues with height synchronization.
