Chat should take full width of pane it is in

Why do we set max-width on chat?
If the user gives extra space to the chat view it should take 100% of the width.
I know we already have this behaviour in Stable, but I wonder why?

Other tools (zed, cursor) always go 100% width.

I am not a 100% sure here: code typically also does not span the entire width of the editor, folks tend to break it at certain column lengths for easier reading. I would think its hard to read a chat response over the entire width of the editor, esp. in these days with very wide external monitors.

I know @kkbrooks was passionate about us not taking the full width.

I am fine leaving this one open to get more customer feedback, and if I am the only one that wants this we should not do it.
