Rename bug "Assertion Failed: Argument is `undefined` or `null`"

This error pop out when I rename an image (as I saw, at least the formats JPG and PNG) in the Visual Code Workspace.
Once I renamed it, and I try to open the image, the error comes out: "Assertion Failed: Argument is undefined or null" .

If I rename the file as it was before, the application load me that again.

In order to fix that, I have to close and re-open the application.

Please see if you can find any logged output that could help us find the source of the issue:

• run code --verbose from the command line
• reproduce the issue
• attach the log files you find from running the command "Open Logs Folder"
