PDFs are rendering with edit button causing issues in the app

I am using PDFObject in one of my projects and I noticed some PDF files can be edited, which is causing a lot of issues in my application

Does anybody else also got this? Is there a way to hide it or just embed the viewer without those options?

Most toolbar items are controlled by the browser's PDF rendering engine, and can't be controlled by JavaScript or PDFObject. A few items can be controlled via PDFOpenParams, but if you really want to have control over the toolbar, you'd need to implement something like PDF.js.

If you just want to prevent editing, you can try password-protecting it or flattening it (e.g. making it a non-editable image instead of vector text).

You could also try hiding the entire toolbar, but not all browsers respect/obey the command.
