Hey there, I'm Ernest (aka DCCoder)!

What's up! 👋 I'm Ernest, but you can call me DCCoder. By day, I'm wrangling code and bugs as a Principal Engineer at Elsevier in their Submissions team. We actually build some really cool stuff!

My coding journey started way back when I was 8 (yes, really!) with good ol' Basic. From those humble beginnings, I've dabbled in everything from teaching C# development to leading teams and generally causing good trouble in the tech world. PHP was my first true love – we had some great times building websites and data interfaces in my teenage years.

When I'm not coding, you can probably find me geeking out over some of the latest tech news, or spending time with my family.
