This a pull request to review the content for the homepage.
I came up with these two paragraphs... I honestly don't know anyone in the core team, so I am not sure if this is accurate or a figment of my imagination... Also, english is my third language, so there are bound to be some grammar mistakes...
Please edit as you see fit. @coolreader18 , can you assign a couple of reviewers based on who you see is most active or interested in the website? (I realized that I can't).
