Hello,

How do you insert x-axis labels on the canvas chart? I see from the docs how to do it on the basic xy chart but not the canvas

The API is misleading, it's a known issue which needs to be fixed in version 3, as it will be a breaking change.
You can set x axis labels under:

config.style.chart.grid.y.timeLabels.values

Obviously placing this under "y" was an oversight.
