The principal axis may not coincide with the centroidal axis hence the two different values. This depends entirely on the section you are analysing. There is a comprehensive section on theory in the documentation which I would encourage you review. There is also an example of a section in which the principal axis does not coincide with the centroidal axis. |

Hi,
How is the principal radii of gyration different from the centroidal one?
Why are there similar results presented twice with different naming (ex. Ixx also shown as I11)?
