Possible to programmatically change highlightedItemIndex and highlightedSectionIndex?

In our application, we'd like to use left and right arrow keys to select different sections of the autosuggest... Is there a way to programmatically change the values of the highlightedItemIndex and highlightedSectionIndex props of the AutoWhatever component?

Currently, it's not possible. These indices are controlled by section-iterator, which doesn't support your use case.

Could you elaborate a bit more about what are you trying to achieve, and attach a screenshot if possible?
Are your sections stacked horizontally? When pressing the right key, should it highlight the first item in the next section?

Thanks for the quick reply @moroshko... Yes, exactly. We have horizontally positioned out sections in the autosuggest, so giving the user the use of the left and right arrow keys to jump from one section to the next made sense intuitively... I'll keep hacking and try to see if there's some way to get around this, if not I'll just push back on the request from product :)
