Includes links to various ways of installing node.js. Also includes links to basic getting started resources. This is very preliminary and would love to see how it could be made better.

That being said I think it is important to keep it from getting too long.

there's a lot of overlap here with what the welcome project is doing. i do think we need a good readme with resources on it but I also don't want to give the impression that you should run through all of these things before asking simple questions on gitter and in Issues.

Yeah -- a getting started document is useful, but we should LEVERAGE SOME SYNERGY and point people at node-forward/welcome. Maybe move some of this there, and add a pointer?
