I'll give you the steps to clean uninstall pengwin and WSL and reinstall them. Don't worry your other distros won't be affected.

Run the following command in powershell WITHOUT elevation or administrator account:

#Be sure pengwin is unregistered from WSL
wsl --unregister WLinux

#Uninstall the Pengwin app
Get-AppxPackage -Name "WhitewaterFoundryLtd.Co.16571368D6CFF" | Remove-AppxPackage

#Be sure to remove any leftover, delete the following directory in File Explorer:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\WhitewaterFoundryLtd.Co.16571368D6CFF_kd1vv0z0vy70w

#Uninstall wsl
wsl --uninstall

#Reboot

#Update wsl
wsl --update --web-download

Then install pengwin again from the store.
