Description
First, my display DRIVER itself is the most current from the manufacturer (HP).
I looked up this error on the Microsoft site, and it states it's a Windows Driver issue. I then looked up the Windows 11 Display requirements, and it states I need DirectX 12.0 and WDDM 2,0 or higher.
Since I have DirectX 12.0 I presume it's related to WDDM 1.0. WDDM is a hardware feature and can't be altered through software.
However, it's my understanding that Flyby11 2.5, the latest release, is supposed to handle this requirement and OVERRIDE it. However, so far, after three attempts, it doesn't want to do this for me.
Does Flyby11 override this hardware requirement, or is there something else I need to do? Is there some other setting I need to set in Flyby11 prior to running the ISO?
When I use Flyby11 and load the ISO through the interface, it doesn't give me any options to alter any settings. It just does the PowerShell script and then says ALL SET. I click OK, and the ISO runs. It gets like 85% through and then stops, undoing all changes and reverting to Win 10.
I have heard that many people have successfully installed Windows 11 on old computers with WDDM 1.0, so I am scratching my head as to why this doesn't work with Flyby11.
