Will an update be needed for the new changes for new Sentry mode update that includes B-pillar footage?

After about 6 years Sentry mode is finally getting an update and including the B-pillar cameras for dashcam footage!

Here is what it says if you don't want to visit the link

Dashcam Update & Side Camera Recording (Newer SX3Y)
Your vehicle's side cameras (B-Pillar) will now be recorded to both Dashcam and Sentry clips, increasing the total number of camera views from 4 to 6.
The Dashcam Viewer app has also been redesigned with a grid view and quick access to the next video, making it easier review recordings.

Now I haven't taken a look at the code so i don't know if it just exports everything it can in the folder or if it does partial string matching or what, but getting an update to have teslausb work with these cameras would be great!

Assuming the folder names and file name pattern are the same, I'd expect archiving of the new files should just work.
The web interface will need updating to show the new recordings.
Unfortunately I have a "legacy" car so won't be able to test this myself.

Having some sample recordings would be good, so I can get a better idea of how to place those views with respect to the others in the web interface. Ideally a complete set of all views, while driving.

I assume you are replying to my comment above. What I meant was: it would be good to have a set of the actual .mp4 files, showing the car in motion.

@Imaginous Hey, bit off topic on this discussion. But curious what you are using for viewing your footage? And how are you adding the timestamp, lat and lon on your video?

I use my own code to scan the folders uploaded via TeslaUSB.

Then I use ffmpeg to generate one video with the layout shown.

The information is gathered from the XML file created by Sentry Mode.
