Cant access certain commands(actions + some pull request) in MCP

Not a comprehensive list, but I dont see any of the actions tools nor the add_pull_request_review_comment

ghcr.io/github/github-mcp-server:main

Steps to reproduce the behavior

Dont see the tools when going to
/mcp
going to github mcp
checking the list of tools

Expected vs actual behavior

Would expect to see all the tools listed under ghcr.io/github/github-mcp-server:main

Encountered this same issue.

We did not release a new version yet. So all prs like the actions one are merged to main, but not part of the latest release, which is an older head. We are discussing a release branch concept, so the latest release head is in sync with the master.

This is not related to claude so I updated the title to avoid confusion and generalize the problem.

@tonytrg actually there was a mistake in the documentation which has been corrected.

ghcr.io/github/github-mcp-server:main is the HEAD docker container. It does have all new tools.
