[Known Issue]: GetAvailableBrowserVersionString in SDK 1.0.2277.86 and 1.0.2357-prerelease requires a string for its first parameter #87

Description

@victorhuangwq

Due to an unintentional change introduced in the release SDK 1.0.2277.86 and 1.0.2357-prerelease, GetAvailableBrowserVersionString cannot be called without any params. I.e. GetAvailableBrowserVersionString() will throw an exception. This is as mentioned in the following GitHub issue.

We will be addressing this unintended change in the upcoming SDKs (release and pre-release), which will be released around end February

Current workarounds:

  • If you need to use release SDK 1.0.2277.86 or 1.0.2357-prerelease, you will be able to address the issue by passing null as its first param. I.e. GetAvailableBrowserVersionString(null) will achieve the original behavior
  • If you don't need to upgrade your SDK right now, you could wait for the upcoming SDKs where this will be addressed
