Checking out a branch didn't work for me.

I attempted to use this action to checkout a branch.

steps:
  - name: checkout
    uses: actions/checkout@master
    with:
      ref: feature/my-branch

However this didn't work. I believe this is because my branch hadn't been fetched by the action. I guess it makes sense not to fetch everything.

My workaround was this:

steps:
  - name: checkout
    uses: actions/checkout@v2

  - name: checkout branch
    run: git fetch origin feature/my-branch; git checkout feature/my-branch;

I'm not sure if there's a bug in the action or if I simply used it wrong. But the above worked for me. I hope this helps someone.
