Description
Description of the new feature / enhancement
When using the FancyZones feature in PowerToys to create a new custom layout with the "Blank Canvas" option, the editor always starts with a default vertical split.
This behavior forces users who prefer horizontal zone arrangements to first delete the vertical zone and then manually build their desired layout from scratch.
This default behavior reduces flexibility and adds extra steps during layout creation.
Scenario when this would be used?
When a user wants to start designing a layout with horizontal zones or a completely empty canvas, they currently must:
Delete the default vertical zone, including the right section of the example.
Add horizontal splits manually.
With the proposed enhancement, users could choose their preferred starting orientation (vertical, horizontal, or none) and begin building their layout more efficiently.
