We’ve released v2.5.0, which should resolve this issue for most users. Additionally, we’ve identified a separate issue where, in certain scripting scenarios, the Cancel button may become unresponsive. We’re actively working on a fix for this.

I have checked the following:

• I have searched existing issues and found nothing related to my issue.

This bug is:

• making Bruno unusable for me
• slowing me down but I'm able to continue working
• annoying
• this feature was working in a previous version but is broken in the current release.

i am clicking on cancel request, but its not working

the task I am trying to perform is not moving ahead and getting regitered.

I have the same problem here - mine occurs when I try to run a pre-request collection level script. When it runs, i get the time counter and if I try to cancel the request, it crashes the application. Change from dev to safe mode (or vice versa) doesn't seem to make a difference.

When I run the same pre request script but at the request level ONLY, it all works just fine. Here's the script I'm trying to run:

mine wasn't working because I forgot to add a return res.json({}), but still it should allow me to cancel the request, and I was using safe mode, just started 2 days ago, for now moved back to Postman till it matures a little bit more.

I have one feedback request, @sreelakshmi-bruno . Could we get an option to import and export collections? For example, if I want, I can import my collection json from Postman and start using it where I left off.

Having the same issue on Fedora 41. This is my first time using Bruno, seems like a pretty major UI/UX problem. It seems to show the correct response behind the cancel Request Button.

We have a PR in place for this #4819, and our team is currently reviewing it. Once it's approved and merged, we’ll be able to provide a nightly build ahead of the main release.
