π Hello! I'm Bui The Viet, an AI Researcher with a strong background in Reinforcement Learning (RL), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Large Language Models (LLMs). I am passionate about developing and implementing innovative AI solutions and have a track record of publications in top-tier conferences and journals such as ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, ICAPS, AAMAS, and Transportation Research Part B. My goal is to contribute to cutting-edge research and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex AI challenges.

- β¨ Previously, as a Research Engineer at SMU (Nov 2021 - Jan 2024), I led research in combinatorial optimization, discrete choice modeling, and reinforcement learning, applying findings to real-world problems like electric vehicle routing and competitive games. I was also a recipient of the SMU Research Staff Excellence Award (one of only 4 recipients across the university).
- π οΈ Before that, I was a Research Engineer at FPT Research Institute (May 2019 - May 2021), where I focused on foundational technologies for chat-bot products and delivered production-level AI solutions.
