self hosted runner status not updated in github runner list via UI or api

we have 2 self hosted runners (macos), been offline for a couple of days, then we make it online again, we can see jobs are processed by these runners, but from github action runners list page, the runners stay as offline , by using this api, api: https://docs.github.com/en/rest/actions/self-hosted-runners?apiVersion=2022-11-28#list-self-hosted-runners-for-an-organization
still shows offline.

not sure why its like this? anyone has same issue?
