Narrow display results in rendering glitches

Testing #6991

I assigned myself to an issue, then unassigned myself, then assigned Justin and Eleanor to the issue. I ended up with the following rendering glitch. My VS Code Insiders window only takes up the right half of the screen. The view fixes itself up after I change the assignees back to just myself again, which I believe causes a re-render.
