[0.0.11] Entering an alias too quickly results in it not using the alias

I bound file search to f, so I need to press f Space to get into file search:

However, if I launch Command Palette and type f foo too quickly, it doesn't do a file search:

This happens more often when I'm in Power Saver mode (!)
