I know that I could do a PR straight away. However, Github doesn't let me create another fork (I have #391574 open and can't just delete the repo).

This fixes a critical issue that's currently present on nixos-unstable.

For that you usually use different branches in the same fork.
Like create e.g. an update-buffybox branch from your forks master branch then work in there to update buffybox. You can then just create another branch to fix or update or whatever any other package.

I have updated the rev and hash but unfortunately the updated buffybox doesn't build for me with just these changes, so I don't feel confident to open a PR.
