Store naming in Zustand:

Hello Zustand team,

I’m curious about the reasoning behind the convention of naming the Zustand instance as store. Is there a specific reason for this choice instead of a more distinctive name like zus or even zustand? Was it a deliberate decision to maintain familiarity with other state management solutions, or did it naturally become the standard within the community?

I appreciate your time and the great work you’ve done with Zustand!

It's the convention. It's just about docs. We don't use any zustand word in the library code in JS. Feel free to use arbitrary name on your end.
