What happened?

Hello.

In the 1st tab the image is open and in the 2nd tab, for example, Whatsapp is open. When I drag and drop the image from tab 1 to the Whatsapp tab, Whatsapp doesn't accept it. This feature is in Chrome, you can check it in Chrome if I didn't explain it.

Reproducible?

  • I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.

I think this might be a feature request, but if it works if Firefox then it should stay here, idk tho.

Hi, @UtkuGARIP. I'm Dosu, and I'm helping the desktop team manage their backlog. I'm marking this issue as stale.

Issue Summary:

  • You reported a drag-and-drop issue in Firefox, where images can't be dragged between tabs, unlike in Chrome.
  • Anoms12 confirmed the feature works on Windows, suggesting a potential Flatpak issue.
  • Rexendevar confirmed the issue persists in version 1.7.5b using Flatpak.
  • Mauro-balades asked if the issue occurs in Firefox, but no confirmation was provided.

Next Steps:

  • Please let me know if this issue is still relevant to the latest version of the desktop repository by commenting here.
  • If there is no further activity, I will automatically close this issue in 7 days.

Thank you for your understanding and contribution!
